Kramer, Adrian Ivan

Went to be with the Lord on November 16th, 2010 at the age of 85.
Adrian was born June 3, 1925 in Kalamazoo MI, the son of the late Cornelius & Sadie {Triestram} Kramer. He was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central & Western Michigan University. Adrian was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral where he served as an Extra Ordinary Minister for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Ordnance Coordinator and attended the Ordnance Gunnery School where he later taught aircraft machine gunner tactics and repair. This later led to his lifetime membership with the NRA. Adrian also loved motorcycling.
After leaving the Navy, Adrian became a business owner and mason contractor, using these talents to serve his community for many years. After retiring, he was employed by Harold Ziegler Auto Group as a shuttle driver. Adrian loved the people and the conversation this position brought.
Adrian was a devoted husband and father. On July 9th, 1949 he married the love of his life, Beverly F (Dekam}. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Cindy Kramer-Daggett (Michael Daggett) of Seattle, WA/Beaufort, NC & Stephen Kramer (Kathy Brenton-Kramer) of NC.
Adrian was also blessed with two lovely grandchildren, Brienne Adams (Brian) of North Carolina, Skyler Brenton-Kramer who is attending Michigan State University, his sister Cornelia Linn, half brothers Jack, Eugene, Donald, half sister Katherine and many nieces and nephews.

Family suggests memorials to the Kalamazoo Cancer Center, St. Augustine's Cathedral or Sister's of St. Joseph.
Celebration of life services for Ade will be held at a later date.

Celebration of Life
Adrian went to be with the Lord on November 16th, 2010.
Please join his family for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 17th at 10:00 O'clock at St. Augustine Catherdal, 542 W. Michigan Ave. with Msgr. Thomas A. Martin, celebrant.
A luncheon will follow at the Crowley Center. Private interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Augustine Catherdal,Sister's of St. Joseph,Kalamazoo Cancer Center or of one's choice.
