Allen Lee Anderson passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at home. Al was born January 26, 1935, the son of Elmer and Mildred (Romig) Anderson in Three Rivers, MI. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Anderson of Three Rivers whom he married Oct. 5, 1991; his brother Leslie (Barb) Anderson and sister Nancy Peters of Traverse City, MI. Two step-sons; William (Lois) Burandt of Constantine and Rodney (Emily) Burandt of Niles. One step-daughter, Erin (Matt) Wheadon of Monroe WA. Step-grandchildren: Danielle (Brent) Brockman of Mt Pleasant MI, James, Jenna & Gabrielle Burandt, Tyler First and Colin and Casey Burandt of Niles and Sullivan, Olivia & Brielle Wheadon of Monroe WA. Two step-Great Grandsons; Dayton Brockman of Mt Pleasant and Aiden Burandt of Edwardsburg. Also surviving are two nephews and their families; Leonard (Sheri) Peters of Columbus TX and Lucas (Sherry) Peters and one niece and her family, Lenise (Al) Howard all residing in Kingsley MI. Al also leaves behind many cousins, in-laws and wonderful friends who were very dear to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Lamar Peters, all his Aunts and Uncles and one Great Nephew, Zach Peters. A 1952 Graduate of Three Rivers High School, Al worked for 16 years at Eaton Corporation in Kalamazoo as an Industrial Electrician and for 35 years as a carpenter for Joe Truckey Construction. He was a member of the Three Rivers B.P.O Elks 1248 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2303. He loved his motorcycle and enjoyed working and living in Arizona in the winters. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at Three Rivers Eagles #2303, 715 Hoffman St, Three Rivers on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Three Rivers Eagles #2303 Auxiliary for Charity Funds.
