Alma June Wedge

ALMA JUNE WEDGE June 17, 1930 to April 2, 2014 Age 83 (Alma) June Wedge peacefully passed early in the morning of April 2nd while resting at the Wings Home in Allegan. June was born on June 17, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan the youngest daughter of Oliver and Florence (Campaign) Michell. June was a long time member of the Rebecca Lodge, Masonic Lodge and was very active in the Lady Lions Club. She is survived by her devoted husband Doran with whom she shared 64 years of her life as well as faithfully working together for many years in their family business, Wedge Oil and Gas. Also surviving are her three children and their spouses, Vickie (Ted) Heckman, Ed (Vicki) Wedge and Doreen (Randy) Farmer. Her nine grandchildren, Tod (Angie), Aimee, Kit (Melissa), Jesse (Mindi), Andy, Audrey, Janelle, Ashley, Arlen and her 11 grest-grandchildren with one on the way. June was a loving wife, mother and a devoted friend. She was always ready to lend a hand or a shoulder to someone in need. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family members both here and at their second home in Florida. June was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Thelma Cochran and her brother Joe Michell. Per her request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
