Amy Jo Woodruff was born July 7, 1978, in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Richard and Diane (Haas) Woodruff. Amy passed away in her sleep on February 27, 2022.
She was a long-time resident of Plainwell. Amy graduated from Allegan County Development Center in 2004. She went on to own her own business, Red Zebra Paper Products, where she sold hand-made greeting cards at in-home card parties. Amy spent the last three years enjoying her new independence, living at David’s House, where she made many friends. She loved zebras, balloons and the color red. Her favorite music was Michael Jackson and other pop music. But her first and greatest love was for her family. She lived for family gatherings and loved to travel. Amy was known for her knock-knock jokes. If you knew Amy, you enjoyed at least one of her knock-knock jokes.
Amy is survived by her parents: Dick and Diane; her brother Rick and Heather Woodruff; her nephews Caleb and Joshua Woodruff as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Memorial donations can be made to David’s House Ministries; 2251 Hope Grove Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509
