Ann P. Wells

After Harold was discharged, they spend a short time in Grand Rapids and Wayland before settling in Martin where they raised their two Children. Ann worked at JCPenney Company for over 20 years. She left Penny’s when Harold retired so they could travel.

Ann is survived by her two children: Laura Happ and Jim (Sherlene) Wells; four grandchildren: Megan (Ronnie) West, Joel Happ, Emily Wells and Jay Wells; three great grandchildren; four siblings: Jacob Rickli, Martha Shoemaker, Norma Cribbs and Jim Rickli, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Walt Rickli, Alice McCaffery, Dorothy Levitt.

Ann attended the Martin United Methodist Church and was involved in blood drives, the Lion’s Club and loved her work at JCPenney. She loved polkas and has been known to do a little polka when the music came on.  She enjoyed playing cards and doing puzzles.  Ann had a smile for everyone.

Friends are invited to gather with the family on Wednesday, October 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin United Methodist Church; 969 E. Allegan St.  A funeral will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the same location with a time of fellowship to follow.
