Antonio Muniz

Antonio Muniz, of Kalamazoo passed away on June 10, 2020 at the young age of 28. Antonio was born on December 5, 1991 to Kris Kersjes and Senaida Muniz in Kalamazoo. Antonio was known as a loving man who would do anything for anybody. He was outgoing and always fun to be around, easily making him the center of attention. Throughout his life he had many goals and ambitions. He was a driven and did what was best for his family, because family was the most important thing to Antonio. He and his wife Julia had been together since they were 12 years old. Their love brought three beautiful children into their lives. His oldest Antonio, his first daughter Eliana, and the youngest Senaida, who was named after his mother. Antonio had a lot of pride for his family. He would often brag about them, especially his mother who he called “his queen”. Antonio is survived by his loving wife Julia; his three children Antonio, Eliana and Senaida; his parents Kris Kersjes and Senaida Muniz; and his younger brothers Ruben and Nemesio. Antonio is preceded in death by his son Emilio. Antonio's public service will take place on Tuesday June 16, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
