Ardyce E. Hutson

Ardyce Elaine Hutson went to be with her lord and savior on November 20, 2022. She was born at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, on April 17, 1930, along with her twin sister Ardyth. Ardyce married Charles “Chuck” Hutson on October 28, 1950, and they had two children, Charlyn in 1955 and Jaye in 1959. Ardyce was well known for her cooking and baking abilities, as well as volunteering at church, youth and band camps.

For over 30 years, Ardyce was a member of the Friendship Bible church in Hopkins, Michigan. She will be remembered as a prayer warrior whose prayer list was ever-growing with everyone she met. She was an avid reader, Scrabble player and someone that would do anything she could for whomever was in need.

Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chuck, her daughter, Charlyn, her brother Theodore “Ted”, and her twin sister Ardyth. Surviving is her son, Jaye and his wife, Kim; grandsons, Daryl and his wife, Amber, Chad and his wife Alisia; granddaughter, Chelsea and her husband, Hauker; great grandsons, Eli and Grant.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023, at Friendship Bible Church, 104 Baker Street, Hopkins, MI, 49328. Family and friends may gather from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Food and fellowship will follow the service.
