Arthur G. Fitzgerald

FITZGERALD, Arthur G. Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Rose Arbor. Arthur was born May 10, 1923 in Chicago the son of Robert and Caroline (Byron) Fitzgerald. He was a First Lieutenant in the Army of the European Theater of war during WWII. Graduate of WMU and University of Michigan. He married the former Eleanor Weinberg on Jan. 31, 1948 who survives. He is also survived by son Larry (Lynne) Fitzgerald of Walnut Creek, CA also 2 nephew in Memphis, TN Charles and Ronald and a nephew Douglas in CA and many relatives in England. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; George, Leslie and Harold. He retired from the Upjohn Co. in 1981. Per his request there will be no visitation or service. Burial of cremains at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Our thanks to Drs Lawlor, Kindler and Shay and many thanks to the many people at Rose Arbor who gave Arthur such tender and loving care. You will never be forgotten. Memorials may be made to Rose Arbor or charity of choice.
