Bernice Mildred Flinn

Bernice Mildred (Burlew) Flinn of Schoolcraft, MI passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 86. She was born in Three Rivers, MI on April 26, 1936, the daughter of Erwin and Mary (Hafelt) Burlew.

On April 28, 1957, she was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life: Kenneth W. Flinn, together they started a family and raised four children.

She is preceded in her passing by her husband: Kenneth W. Flinn; brother: William Burlew; and her parents.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her children: Kirk Flinn (Cindy Sommerville), Balinda Flinn-Dodson (Donald), Beth Flinn (Werner Magg), Kevin Flinn; grandchildren: Kelly (Megan) Flinn, Nathan (Maria) Hampton, Emily (Justin Gilley) Hampton, Ariel (Theron Lentz) Flinn; great grandchildren: Zackery Gilley; Killian Flinn, Claire Flinn; and Evelynn Gilley; and her sister: Olive Hamilton.

In accordance with Bernice’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Homes and Cremation Society, 409 South Main Street, Vicksburg, MI 49097, with a time for visiting beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
