Carol Anne (Davis) Saline went to be with her Savior on October 29, 2022. She passed peacefully at home with her dog Sunshine on her lap. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James “Jim” Arthur Saline, a son, Ronald Earl (Nancy) Saline, daughters, June Ilene (Ted) Axe, Dawn Starr (Jeff) Adam, Robin Carol (Rob) Rose, ten grandchildren, Ronald “RJ” (Erica) Saline, Melissa “Missy” Saline-Tyler, Shawn Michael Nordman, Chad Edward (Tessa) Nordman, Brandon Lee Rose, Brittany Carol (Sam) Fehrman, Benjamin “Ben” James (Bobbie) Adam, Jessie Mae Lyke, Taylor Jeanette Lyke, Jarrett Scott Lyke and eight great grandsons, Jackson James Saline, Beckett Finn Saline, Kayden Douglas Tyler, Dakoata James Nordman, Jayden Matthew Nordman, Rylan Lee Nordman, Christian Michael Nordman, Owen Robert Rose and three great-granddaughters, Madison Faith Nordman, Brianna Hope Nordman, Amelia Rose Fehrman, and one great-great-granddaughter, Aleah Rose Nordman.
She is preceded by her father, Claude Edward Davis, and mother, Garnett June (Deem) Davis Nagy and great-granddaughter Natallie Ann Nordman as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She recently celebrated her 61st year of marriage to her husband Jim. Together they instilled love, kindness, and a strong work ethic in their four children while finding time to celebrate their life together with trips in and out of the country. After retirement they spent winters in Naples, Florida, where they enjoyed the warmth of the sunshine and the friendships they acquired along the way. Carol had an artistic side to her, creating ceramic pieces over the years, painting, arts and crafts, and playing games.
She lived for her family and friendships. Carol shared her love and compassion easily and always supported those in need, becoming the second “mom” to many. While raising her family she opened her home to the neighborhood children and made it the place to be; hosting numerous shared dinners and gatherings with friends and family along the way. She might remind us to “be compassionate, practice forgiveness, and love one another.” She was loved by so many.
