Carolyn (Marriott) Beurmann, age 74 of Marcellus, MI passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013.
She was born on April 10, 1939 in Aurelius, MI, the daughter of Clayton & Fannie Marriott. On January 10, 1959 in Eaton Rapids, MI she married Laurence “Mike” D. Beurmann who survives.
Carolyn enjoyed working with her hands; crafts, quilting, puzzles, and woodworking. Her biggest passion was her extensive collection of American Bald Eagle figurines. She enjoyed many trips to the property in Baldwin and camping with family and friends. An occasional trip down the Pere Marquette River always brought a good laugh, whether in a canoe or a raft.
Surviving besides her husband Mike, are five children, Darcy, Tim (Janis), Chris (Carey), Dennis and Kevin; two brothers, Bob Marriott and Bernie (Cheri) Marriott and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Poyer and Brother, Don Marriott.
A luncheon will be held Saturday November 16, 2013 from Noon to 3:00 PM. At the Hudson Memorial Building, Marcellus.
