Caryl Jeanne Miller, of Schoolcraft passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the age of 80. Caryl was born on March 26, 1939 in Three Rivers. She was the daughter of Ralph and Louise (Swem) Lillie. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School and a member of the Class of 1957. On September 5, 1959 at Three Rivers Bible Church she married Jacob “Jake” Miller. Caryl’s family describes her as creative, kind, giving, loved people and selfless. Her hobbies include: knitting, crocheting, card making, and China painting. She was a great cook that loved trying new recipes and was an avid reader. She was a member of Three Rivers Bible Church.
Caryl is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jacob “Jake”; two children: Lynette (Tim) Wolthuis, of Vicksburg; Mark (Mary) Miller, of Kentwood; four grandchildren: Philip (Alicia) Miller, of Hudsonville; Holly Miller, of China; Amy Miller, of Kentwood; and Levi Miller, of KY; one great granddaughter, Sidney Miller. Caryl is also survived by her three brothers: Charles, Lillie, and Keith. She is preceded in death by her son, Matthew in 1995.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11am at the Three Rivers Bible Church, 220 North Erie Street, Three Rivers. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10am.
