Charlene Fay Carten

Charlene Fay Carten passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 80. Charlene was born on August 3, 1940 to George & Bonna (Gillmore) Tiff. Charlene married Chuck on January 23, 1960. She is survived by her children: Kimberly Cochran, Karen Carten and Becky (Julie) Carten-Crandell; four grandchildren: Trevor Cochran, Mindy (Michael) Daws, Leah Carten-Crandell and Aaron Carten-Crandell; great grandchildren: Ryleigh Daws, Hayden Daws and Paisley Mae Daws; sister Carol Russell; her aunt Hazel Johansen and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chuck; her brothers: Bernard, Forest and Laverne. Memorial donations may be made to Paws with a Cause or Spectrum Health Hospice. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, Marshall & Gren Chapel; 120 S. Woodhams St. Plainwell MI 49080. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 at the Hillside Cemetery.
