Christopher Charles Byers

BYERS, Christopher C. Portage Went home to be with his Lord Aug. 10, 2012 with his children and family by his side. He was born March 2, 1965. Chris was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1984. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his kids and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Victor and Maxine Campbell, Woody and Vivian Byers and his uncle Richard Byers. He is survived by his parents Woody Jr. and Mary Ann Byers of Vicksburg and his three children; Scott Byers of Vicksburg, Heather Byers of Littleton, CO. and Krisann Ann Byers of Vicksburg, aunts, uncle's cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. A graveside memorial service will be held on Aug 14, 2012 at 2pm at the South Side Cemetery in Portage with Pastor Coon and Pastor Bishop officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Association or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
