Clarence Jay Edwards

Clarence Jay Edwards passed on with family by his side on December 14, 2021, at the age of 71. Clarence was born on January 7, 1950 to William and Anne (Yoder) Edwards. A memorial gather is being planned for the spring. Clarence is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothea; his children: Jeffery Edwards of Gobles, Nicholas (Stephanie) Edwards of Otsego, Kathleen (Steve) Kimmel of Allegan; Michelle (Denis) Lawton of Lake City FL; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his brother Kelvin Edwards as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Elton Edwards (2021) and Rita Boylan (1980). Clarence had a passion for fishing and westerns on TV. He was a quiet man but loved a good joke and was known to tease people. He enjoyed pontoon boat rides and loved to do anything with his grandchildren. He was a hard worker who rarely took time off. He was a giver, helping anyone in need. Memorial donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
