Clyde Eugene VanAvery

Van Avery, Clyde E. Age 84 Galesburg Clyde age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior May 31, 2012. Clyde married Cora Wiers on April 16, 1946, with whom they had three children; Jack (Susan) Van Avery, Sallie Van Avery, Jane (Don) Triemstra as well as four grandchildren and seven (eighth on the way) great grandchildren. Clyde delivered milk for Lockshore Dairy for seven years, was a Standard Oil agent for 29 years, and took greatest pride in driving a school bus for 24 years with the Galesburg-Augusta School District. One of Clyde's greatest pleasures in life was watching his family grow. His commitment to his family extended to his friends and community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and use his craftsmanship in woodwork and painting by volunteering his services on various projects around the city. A memorial service will take place Friday, June 8, 2012, 1:00pm at Galesburg Congregational Church. Memorial donations may be made to Galesburg Congregational Church.
