Coralee Pearl Behr, of Vicksburg, MI passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the age of 67. She was born on July 24, 1954 in Lansing, MI. The daughter of Robert and Lois (Evert) Fulton.
Coralee is an amazing child of her risen savior, Jesus Christ. He taught her how to love others and she does it faithfully. All she ever wanted to be was a mom and God delivers on righteous wants.
Once upon a time, Coralee searched for holy wisdom and found her husband, Daniel Behr. He was a brilliant man who grew her mind and she grew his heart. Together they had three boys. There was Aaron, the dreamer and Andrew, the preacher and Adam, the empathic teacher. Together they were a family as tightnit as any has ever been. But the nest got empty and the available time drew thin. God provided her with a new family through daughters, Lydia, Danae, and Stacey. Those girls followed the same Godly want of being a family by bringing grandchildren Lillianna, Autumn, Willow, Oliver, Gabby, and Jeremiah. They are a pure joy filled with the wisdom of their grandmother which she got from her savior.
Families became busy and available time grew thin. She felt alone, with no one to mother and an empty bear’s den. She tried to love others who often did not in return and God saw that and gave her a mission at APNTS. She was reborn there, high in purpose and flying on His wings. He trusted her with many hearts because she did so well with few. Those multitude of voices cry out this very moment for another needless death in the Kingdom of Heaven.
We could brag about her accomplishments, for which there are a lot, but if you don’t already know them, then you have lost the plot. If you knew Coralee she only worshipped God. She did not care about money, or status, or accomplishments. She confidently prayed for boys who loved God and He answered her prayers because she didn’t make them about her. Everyone who entered her door can testify to her hospitality. She never considered it that way but more to spread the joy of Christ.
If we are to learn one lesson from Coralee’s testimony it is this; often God sends us people to touch us but we have a tendency to miss the opportunity to pour love into them and show them Heaven’s kiss. They cry out to be loved so we are here to show them how. If you knew her well, you can be confident she taught you the lesson to love one another with no expectation for return. Praise God for Coralee! She is a blessing sent from Him.
In accordance with Coralee’s wishes a public service will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 7520 East U Avenue, Vicksburg, MI 49097, starting at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Downs officiating. Coralee will be privately laid to rest on a later date.
