Craig V. Caldwell

Craig V. Caldwell, age 70, of Decatur, MI passed away at home Thursday, January 26, 2017.
He was born December 20, 1946 in Long Beach, CA, the son of Paul Freeman and Audrey Elizabeth (Younze) Caldwell. On September 15, 1979 he married Patricia Shimun in Conneticut and she survives.
Craig served 21 years as a Missle Fire Conrol Systems Tech in the United States Navy, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and other pins and medals. He retired from the Navy in 1987. He loved working on computers, tinkering with Cuckoo clocks and enjoyed gardening and living off the land.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, one daughter, Jody M. Caldwell of Golden, CO and one son, Paul (Allison) Caldwell of Evergreen, CO; three grandchildren; one brother Robert (Lori) Caldwell of Eugene, OR; one sister, Gail (Jim) Archer of Oakridge, OR and nieces & nephews.
Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements were handled by the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus, MI.
