Craig Alan Meeth

MEETH, Craig Alan Delton Craig Meeth, 69, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 2, 2014. He was born in Kalamazoo on March 8, 1944, the son of Virginia (Avery) Meeth and Laurel Peter Meeth who preceded him in death. Two brothers, James G. Meeth and Michael (Donna) Meeth also proceeded in death. After graduating from Kalamazoo Central, he joined the Air Force in 1964 and served a term in Vietnam. Craig worked 35 years at Hydreco and First National (PNC) in Computer Programming and Systems Analysis. He is survived by Connie Meeth and Sons, David Alan Meeth and Timothy Craig (Sherry) Meeth; Grandchildren, Robby, Megan, Courtney and Jacob. Survived by 10 siblings; Laurel Hyames-Sayre, Tom (Betty) Meeth, Cynthia (Don) Nepper, Mary (Jim) Bock, Luella (Nelson) Major, Phillip (Lucretia) Meeth, Bunny (Marvin) Major, twin sister Carolyn (Keith) Martin, Nate Meeth, Natalie (Larry) VanEngen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He leaves a very good friend, Mike (Karen) Fink. Craig enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing and bowling, but most of all he enjoyed his family and pets. Following Craig's wishes, there will be a graveside service at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 11 AM, Friday, March 7, 2014. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
