Daniel R. Agy

Daniel R. Agy, 78, of Otsego, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at his home. He was born March 9, 1944 in Plainwell, the son of Ernest and Josephine (Root) Agy. Dan graduated from Grand Ledge Academy and went on to serve in the United States Army. Following his military service, he began working as a maintenance leadman for Parker Hannifin, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

On August 21, 1965 in Martin, MI, Dan was united in marriage to Anita Morrison who survives. He is also survived by three children, Karen (Dan) Rogers, Daniel (Joy) Agy, Jr., and Earl (Carol) Agy; eight grandchildren, Alec Mitchell, Kathryn Helsen, Emma Agy, Brandon Brewer, Cody Brewer, Jacob Agy, Nickolas Agy and Zackary Agy; several great grandchildren; three siblings, Kenneth (Diana) Agy, Pamela Hershberger and Kathy (Larry) Topp. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell.
