Daniel Joseph Block, The man. The myth. The legend. Entered into his eternal life on January 8, 2021 after 57 magnificent years.
Daniel was born March 13, 1963, as a child Daniel fell in love with baseball, church, fishing, and good music, passions he'd carry his entire life. Daniel went on to serve in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. Daniel loved his time in Germany, he fell in love with the culture, the people, the food and of course the beer. Daniel came home to the US and filled his days with concerts, friends, parties, late night drives, long walks and enjoying all the little things life had to offer him. Daniel was never afraid to get dirty and was always willing to make time for play. With a booming and infectious laughter, bright eyes and a beaming smile, Daniel was often the life of the party.
Daniel was a phenomenal father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. As an adult he loved to cook and honed his skills working in restaurants across the country. Daniel loved to fish and spent many days on the lake. Daniel loved spending time with his family especially his children. He was passionate about creating music he loved to play piano, guitar and sing especially karaoke. Daniel expressed himself through illustrations, paintings and music.
Daniel truly believed in loving people despite their shortcomings, which may be one of the most valuable things we can learn from our time with him. Daniel is survived by his children, his siblings, his family and those who've had the pleasure of knowing him.
Daniel is preceded in death by his father James Block, his sister Rose Butcher and a plethora of friends and family.
