Darlene A. Dennis

Darlene A. Dennis, age 60 of Otsego, Michigan passed away suddenly of natural causes on December 2, 2020 at 11:35 pm at her home in Otsego. Darlene was born on July 10, 1960 to Jerry Lee Bowen Sr. and Charlotte (Sims) Bowen. Darlene is survived by her husband Bill and children Cassandra Dennis (Andrew), Nicole Walker (Adam) Kaija and Jeremiah Rudd, seven grandchildren, and her siblings Jerry (Cathy) Bowen, Pamelia Bowen and Sandy Bowen as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry (stepmother Patricia) Bowen, her mother Charlotte Bowen and her sister Dawn Hart. Darlene worked as a Direct Care worker she took care of handicap adults and children. She loved her job and her clients adored her, she treated her clients like they were her family. She always had her door open for anyone. She also was the neighborhood mom. She also loved Mexican food and she loved making homemade enchiladas. She loved her dog Suzie Q. She loved shopping with Suzie Q and her kids. Suzie had more clothes than Darlene did. Darlene’s tradition every year, she went all out decorating for the holidays. She loved making Christmas cookies and fudge for Christmas with her kids and grandkids. She also loved coloring eggs for Easter with kids and grandkids and she loved cooking huge meals for every holiday. She was a very loving caring person, who would never give up on someone. She would give her shirt off her back. She was a wonderful mom and grandma. A celebration of life will take place from 5-7 Monday, December 14 at Grandma Pat’s house 768 11th Street, Otsego, MI
