David Charles Bunch

BUNCH DAVID CHARLES David C Bunch, 49, of Schoolcraft, died at home September 30, 2013 after a 5 year battle with cancer. He was born in Detroit, one of 5 children of Ernie and Gladys (Baker) Bunch. He was educated in the Lapeer Public Schools, and later joined the US Navy. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1986. Dave was an active member of the Battle Creek Steelheaders, and was a Professional Walleye fisherman with the Professional Walleye Trail and the Michigan Walleye Tour. He also enjoyed deer hunting with his son Seth and many friends. Dave had a passion for his dogs Tink, Tabby and Scooter; who will miss him very much. David is survived by his parents Ernie and Gladys (Baker) Bunch of Lapeer MI; his wife Stephanie (Carnago) Bunch; his son Seth Bunch and his companion Whitney Wilkey; his grandson Anthony; 2 sisters Donna (Bunch) Pender and husband Perry; Brenda (Bunch) Sackstedder and finance Kevin; 2 brothers Larry Bunch and Gary Bunch; his special friend Emily Pennington; many nieces and nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held October 18th 2013 at 11:00 at Unity of Kalamazoo church located at 1204 Whites Road Kalamazoo MI 49008. A luncheon will follow after the service.
