David Dudley Cromer of Vicksburg, MI passed away at home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 92. He was born on February 11, 1929 in Sturgis, MI the son of Lloyd and Wilma (Clark) Cromer.
David graduated from Sturgis High School in 1947, following graduation he honorably served his country in The United States Air Force. On March 23, 1976 he married the love of his life: Marcia Long, the two were married for forty-four years and they raised two daughters: Tammy (Norman) Henderson-Rothenberger and Cynthia (Long) O’Brien; as well as four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
David worked in the construction industry for ten years and left the field to go into offset printing, which he retired from. David loved animals, reading books, practicing photography, and working on home projects.
David is preceded in his passing by his parents, sister, and one niece.
In accordance with David’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery on a later date.
