David Duane Goss passed peacefully in his sleep on October 24, 2023, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born on December 22, 1955, in South Haven, Michigan, to his loving parents, Duane L. Goss and Thelma E. (Miller) Goss.
David dedicated eight years of his life to the service of his country, serving in the US Army as a medic and stationed in Germany. His commitment and bravery were unwavering, and he made lasting contributions to the well-being of others during his military service.
David is preceded in death by his father, Duane, who passed away in 2017. He is survived by his devoted mother, Thelma, who shared many cherished moments with him throughout his life.
David is also survived by his beloved daughter, Kristen (Josh) Brenner, who brought him immense joy and pride. He leaves behind his sisters, Linda (Steve) Schiele and Debbie (Jack) Miller, and his brother, Brian (Marie) Goss. He was a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Wyatt and Abby, who will carry his memory with them always. Additionally, David is survived by several nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly and who will miss him greatly.
David Duane Goss will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery, a fitting tribute to his dedicated service to his country. The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who have offered their support and condolences during this challenging time.
David's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his legacy of service and dedication will be remembered with honor and respect.
