David Lee Sehy

David Lee Sehy was born at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Virginia Ruth (Rich) Sehy and John Joseph Sehy Jr. on March 10th, 1942. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on August 10th, 2021. He was known for many accomplishments throughout his lifetime, including a Tree Service he owned many years ago; Dave's Tree Service. He was also known as the old man who loved to gamble at the neighborhood stores; everyone loved him. David is preceded in death by his parents: Virginia (Rich) and John Sehy Jr; sister, Marilyn Sehy; brothers, Tommy and Terry Sehy; daughter, Joan Sehy; and son, Michael Sehy. He is survived by his lifelong partner of 38 years, Marie Sherman; brother, Edward (Kathy) Sehy; children: Robert Sehy, Lyne (Andrew Crippen) Sherman, Carrie (Alan) Klavon; grandchildren: Ava, Freya, Kaylynn, Addison, Nicole (Donald), Chasidy (Brian), Mark, Tyler, Rachel, and Jessica; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close family friends. He will be greatly missed by so many. David has been cremated at Avink Funeral Home & Cremation Society in Portage, Michigan and there is no memorial scheduled at this time.
