Della Mae Spencer

Della Mae Spencer, of Gobles formerly of Vicksburg passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the age of 71. Della was born on March 18, 1949 in Vicksburg. She was the third of four children of Harry and Mary (Viro) Spencer. She attended Vicksburg Schools with the Class of 1968. Della was Born Again and Baptized at the Journey Family Church in Gobles. She will be remembered by her family outgoing, outspoken, loving strong-willed and loved saving animals. She is survived by her two daughters: Heather Gause, of FL; Mary Burgoyne, of Decatur; two grandchildren: Joplin and Sirius Burgoyne, of Decatur; one sister, Leota (Linda Jones) Michielson, of Lawton. She is also survived by her special companion of over 40 years, Stanley Chaney, of Gobles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1pm at Journey Family Church 313 Depot Street Gobles, MI. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Due to COVID 19, social distancing is recommended and wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. Della would love to have casual attire for those that come.
