Delores A. West

Delores A. West, age 87, of Schoolcraft, MI passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018.
She was born April 26, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Albert and Delberta (Hurley) Merchant. On June 26, 1948 she married Richard West and he preceded her in death.
Delores graduated from high school and went on to raise seven children. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and also enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy (Ron) Harmon of Marcellus; five sons, Bill (Bobbie) West of Vicksburg, MI, Mick (Jean) West of Otsego, MI, Stan West of Schoolcraft, Mark (Sue) West of Mason, AZ and Eric (Shawna) West of Schoolcraft; one sister, Greta Jervis of Bloomingdale, MI and one brother, Jerry Merchant of Bloomingdale; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard and one son, Richard West, Jr., daughter in law, Linda West and one granddaughter, Lisa Lindsey.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM at the Schoolcraft United Methodist Church.
