Dian Lee Verschoof

Dian Lee Verschoof of Richland, MI passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the age of 58. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 13, 1964, and was raised by Duane and Ida (Moerman) Verschoof. 

She had a passion for being in the water and was a successful competitive swimmer and served as a lifeguard from time to time. Dian and Allen enjoyed camping together and went on many camping trips going all over the place in their fifth wheel, her dream retirement was to travel with Al in that camper. She will be fondly remembered for her annual camping trips with friends and family.

Dian was an extremely talented artist whose preferred medium was pastels, she worked as a graphics design artist for her profession and some of her work was published. The bulk of her career was spent at Schawk in Battle Creek specializing in Kellogg products, designing mostly cereal and pop tart boxes. 

Dian is preceded in her passing by her father: Duane Verschoof.

Left to cherish Dian’s loving memory is her husband: Allen Kraft; children: John Zupko and Elsye (Doug) Strahle; mother: Ida Verschoof; and brother: Wade Verschoof.

In accordance with the family’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Word of Life Church of God, 7022 E. Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49048, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
