Louis Donald Pastorick, 87 of Marcellus, Michigan passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Three Rivers Hospital.

He was born in Sunfield, Michigan on March 20, 1935 the son of Louis Bernard Pastorick and Donna Jean (Horvath) Pastorick.

On Apri 1, 1995, in Las Vegas, NV he married Mary Frances Freestone who survives him in death.

Don was a saw mill owner most of his life, he started in Sunfield and later moved to Marcellus in the mid 1970’s. In later years he and Mary owned Pork Chop Diner in Marcellus.

Don is survived by his wife Mary, daughters; Deborah J. (Rick) Spencer of Flowerfield, Twp, Robin (Jim) Cruickshank of Grand Ledge, son; Donald “Scott” Pastorick of Marcellus, step-children; Dana (Chad) Benkert of Des Moines IA, Carl Bombrys of Marcellus, Clay Bombrys, Amanda (Buddy) Maggert of Marcellus, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren, and sister Violet Hough of Lansing.

Don is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Donna, daughters; Kimberly Ellison and Leslie Northrup, step-granddaughter; Kylie Benkert, brother-in-law Murray Hough and sister; Helen (John) Hebert and first wife Nina (Pastorick) Halifax.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life at 11:00a.m on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Edwards Corner Bible Church, 51047 Chamberlain Rd, Marcellus, MI 49067 with Pastor Josh Wiggins officiating.
