Donna May Glazier

Donna May (Guthrie) Glazier, 90 a resident of Galesburg, Michigan passed away on Thursday November 14, 2019 from congestive heart failure. Donna was born on April 13, 1929 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She attended and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1947. Donna married Robert Glazier in August of 1947. Together they raised their daughter, Kathy and son, Jim. Donna was employed at both Tube Fabricators in Burr Oak and the Kirsch Company in Sturgis for over 30 years. She loved to spend time with her family, garden, knit, and enjoyed time with her many friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Isabel Guthrie, her husband Bob, brother Ted and sister-in-law Arlene, cousin Joyce Ellwood, sister-in-law Elaine Schuyler and brother-in-law Forrie Schuyler and niece Diane Guthrie. Donna is survived by her daughter Kathy, son Jim and his wife, Deb. Grandchildren Dave, Kevin and wife Monica, Nikk and wife Liz and great granddaughter Emma; Niece Linda Becker and husband Lanny, Nephew Larry Schuyler and his wife Sue; nephews Tom Guthrie, Teddie Guthrie and his wife Phyllis, plus many great nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held at the United Congregational Church of Christ in Galesburg, Michigan on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the United Methodist Church of Galesburg. In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Galesburg United Congregational Church of Christ, Caledonia High School or Grand View Elementary School in Grandville, Michigan
