Dorothy M. Dailey

Dorothy Dailey, age 81, of Vicksburg, passed away on January 20, 2020. Dorothy was born on October 2, 1938 to Isaac & Mary (Parsons) Dubbeld. Visit with her family and friends on Wednesday, January 22 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, Rupert Durham Chapel; 409 S. Main St. in Vicksburg. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Vicksburg Cemetery. Dorothy’s family includes her children: Loren (Krista) Dailey, Sharon Alstrom, Daniel Dailey; Her siblings: Alice, Mary, Bonnie, Suzy, Jim, Richard, Daniel and Ronald as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Laverne; siblings: Walter, Betty and Donna. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and taking care of her flower garden and she was an avid bird watcher.
