Dorothy Jane Guilfoyle

Dorothy Jane Guilfoyle, age 101, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Vibrant Life Assisted Living Center in Kalamazoo, MI. Dorothy was born on January 10, 1919 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Franklin and Cora (Vette) Benessi. She was joined in marriage to Daniel W. Guilfoyle on May 21, 1938. Dorothy is proceeded in death by her husband, Daniel on January 23, 1999. She is survived by their four children and spouses: Michael (Patricia) Guilfoyle of Vicksburg, MI, Marcia (Joseph) Bowers or Riverview, FL, Mark (Toula) Guilfoyle of Jefferson, NH, and Tamara (Michael) Mair of Kalamazoo, MI; one sister: Betty Wassman of Lawrence, MI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19, a private memorial service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
