Douglas Alan Druckenbrodt

Douglas Alan Druckenbrodt of Vicksburg, MI, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was born March 10, 1947 to Frederick and Lillian (Poolman) Druckenbrodt in Kalamazoo, MI. 

He spent his life as a horseman, farmer, builder, equipment operator, and truck driver among other occupations. He was a devout man of faith, living his life with a passion for his family and friends and enjoyed devoting his time and energy to helping others. 

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Paula (Dragoo) Druckenbrodt; sisters Karol (David) Sprague and Nancy (Glenn) Dunbar; sons John (Michaele) Druckenbrodt,  Eric (Krysti) Druckenbrodt, Dan (Victoria) Dalman, Tim (Nichole) Dalman; daughter Kathleen Dalman; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

In accordance with the family’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, 409 South Main Street, Vicksburg, MI 49097, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, with a time for visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
