Douglas "Doug" Stratton

Douglas “Doug” Stratton, of Martin, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 64. Doug was born November 11, 1956 to Robert and Dixie (Marsh) Stratton. Doug leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Judy (Allen) Stratton; his parents, Robert and Dixie (Marsh) Stratton; children, Jessica (Shane) Schrepper, Jennifer (Kevin) Cothren, Jalissa Joy Stratton and fiancé James Sallady, and Jared Stratton; grandchildren, Zach (Breezy) Pride, Ean Pride, Brier Pride, Becca Foster, Kaylee Cothren, Jalen Moore, Tommy Sheldon, and Jacob Stratton; great grandchildren, Emma Joy Pride, Lily Grace Pride, Delilah Ruth Elkins, and Raegan Moore; siblings, Dan (Terry) Stratton, Diann (Dave) Santman, Dennis (Margaret) Stratton; sister in law, Beth (Allan) Roberts; brother in law, Zane (Kim) Allen; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and to many friends to count. Doug was preceded in death by Coco, Reggie, and Dash. Visitation for Doug will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm at McCowen & Secord Family Funeral Homes, Marshall – Gren Chapel, 120 S. Woodhams, Plainwell, MI 49080. Service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 2pm at the same location. Burial to follow at South Martin Cemetery. The family will plan a memorial service later in the summer. Memorial contributions can be made to Allegan County Animal Shelter and WGVU.ORG in Doug’s name. Beloved husband of Judy.
