Edwin Kim Mihalik

MIHALIK, Edwin (Kim) Kalamazoo Age 54 Passed away at his home on May 8, 2014. Kim was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Edna Mihalik (Hawkes) of South Haven. Kim was employed at Bronson Hospital for 18 years in the Security Department. He was also a member of the Kalamazoo County Sherriff Dept. Reserves and a member of the F.O.P. Lodge #98. Kim is survived by his sister, Twila Calder (Phil) in Utah, brother, Mike Hawkes (Linda) in Denver and Jim Hawkes (Marilyn) and Tom Hawkes (Char) local. Kim is also survived by ex-sister-in-law, Marilyn Engberts (Jim) and nephews, Jon, Dave, Bob Hawkes and several other nieces and nephews. The F.O.P. Lodge # 98 of Kalamazoo will host a gathering of friends and family May 30, 2014 at 6:00pm. A family get together will take place at a later date.
