Elaine Eunice Flegel

Elaine Flegel, born January 25, 1917 in Marinette Wisconsin, with the given name of Elaine Eunice Anna Erna Greening, passed away Tuesday morning February 21, 2012. Elaine, loving mother, married in 1942 to, Orvin Jay Flegel, rearing two children a son, Jon Flegel of Vicksburg, and a daughter Diane Campbell of Mattawan. There are also surviving, two grand children, three great grand children a few cousins nephews and nieces and their children. Elaine was a dedicated mother and house wife that worked at various jobs throughout her life. She was strong willed, refusing to be a burden to anyone. Her husband, Orvin Flegel, passed away 39 years ago and from that date lived on her own with the help of her children. Elaine was well liked by all that met her whether family, friends or neighbors. She was always saddened by those that would promise then not keep those promises. Her immediate family will remember her free and easy will to laugh at the simplest happy moments and she will be very sadly missed.
