On Saturday, July 23,2022, Evelyn Francis Campbell, loving wife and mother of four, went to be with the Lord.
She was born December 11, 1935, in Kalkaska, Michigan to Archie and Varah (Latson) Curtis. On April 10, 1954, she married Ted E. Campbell. They had four children, Glen, John, Gary, and Judy.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Varah, brother Edward Curtis and sister Elaine Weirenga and her two sons, Glen and Gary.
Evelyn had both a love for people and a love for numbers. She did bookkeeping for churches she attended and small businesses in her community. Later in life she worked with ACRDC as a case manager, helping people connect with services they needed. She loved the people of her church and along with her husband led a group called Young at Heart for people fifty-five and up.
Evelyn was loving and kind to everyone she met, even as her memory faded in the last few years, she loved having people visit with her and Ted. She loved having her grandchildren and great grandchildren in her home.
She also loved to travel with her husband and family. She always found a way to take her family on vacations as her children grew and in later years, she took her grandchildren on trips as well as several vacations with her siblings and their spouses.
