Faye E. Risner

Faye E. (Hall) Risner, 73, of Orangeville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2022. Faye was born in Concord, MI, on August 7, 1949, one of 13 children of Grover and Mae (Whitaker) Hall. On September 16, 1967 at the Orangeville House of Prayer, Faye was united in marriage to Richard “Rich” Risner, who survives. She is also survived by three children, Penny (Mark McMillian) Risner, Misty (Sam) Torres, and Tracy (Conrad) Wooten; grandchildren, Kevin Leith, Felisha (Steve) Spence, Tylor Torres, Braden Torres, Zack Torres, Haley Wooten, Cody Wooten and Carlee Wooten; great grandchildren, Jase, Kinsley, Ayla, Ryatt, and Sawyer; siblings, Alkie (Verne) Holden, Rick (Denise) Hall, Ronnie Hall, Debbie Walley, Jim Hall, Hobert Hall; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Paul Hall, Robert Hall, Shirley Marshall, Lucille LaFountain, Ray Hall and Carmel Hall.

Faye was a devout Christian and member of the Pentecostal Church (House of Prayer) her entire life. She loved her family and the Lord above all things and devoted her life to them. She was known for making beautiful quilts and gifted them to family and friends. Always there for others in their time of need and welcomed everyone in her home with a beautiful smile. Her gracious and generous heart will be missed by many. The Lord’s faithful servant is now home in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Services will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022, family and friends will be received from 12 noon until 1 pm at the Orangeville House of Prayer, 6153 Marsh Road, Shelbyville, MI 49344. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm and Faye will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery following the service.
