Faye Catherine Vanderwall

VANDERWALL, Faye Catherine Mattawan Faye (Tuttle) Vanderwall was born on March 3, 1927 in Berwyn, Illinois and passed away on November 7, 2012. Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Herman Vanderwall. Surviving are her five children; Bob (Cindy), Tim (Barb), Lynne Burmeister (Scott), Cathy Septoski (Jerry), Joan Abel (Dave); her grandchildren: Leif, Corie (Willis), Julie (Dirk), Gretchen (Robert), Brandon (Emily), Samantha, Ian (Cortney), Jocelyn, Julie Anne and Jeff; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law LaVerne, Shirley, and Rita, brother-in-law Hank, and many nieces and nephews. Faye married the love of her life, Herman on June 9, 1945. Faye was a homemaker and pet lover. She was very interested in politics especially in support of the disadvantaged. She believed and promoted equal rights for everyone. She was a loving, thoughtful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Cremation has taken place. A family service honoring Faye will be on Friday 10:30am Nov. 9, 2012 at Fort Custer in Battle Creek. Memorial remembrances may be made in Faye's honor to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter.
