Fern Morgan

Fern "Zene" Morgan, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Zene was born on June 22, 1931 in Tupelo, AR. Burial will take place on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at 11:30 am. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Encounter Church; 202 S. Sherwood Ave. in Plainwell from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019. Zene's family includes; her children: Linda (Bob) Mollitor, Darline Rietkerk and Joy (Dan) Agy; grandchildren: Allen (Nora) Mollitor, Ben Mollitor, Sarah Austin (Josh Dailey), Clayton Rietkerk, Brandon (Jessica) Brewer, Cody Brewer (Lexi Schmitt), and Emma Agy; great grandchildren: Ellie Brewer, Waylon Brewer, Morgan Dailey and Zoey Brewer as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, of 70 years, Paul; her brother: Forrest Ray Hunter; and her sister: Mable Howard. Zene and Paul came to Michigan to start their family and home and always worked side by side raising their children. She loved her family and will be deeply missed.
