Frank Steve Simunovic

SIMUNOVIC , Frank Steve Kalamazoo Age 81 Died June 16, 2014 at his home in Kalamazoo, MI surrounded by his family. Frank Steve Simunovic was born May 29, 1933 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Frank Simunovic Sr. and Katherine Simunovic. Frank worked at Upjohn for 27 years. He was an avid bowler and was able to achieve both the 299 & 300 rings in his career. On January 3, 1953 he married his best friend, Barbara Kay (Munger) Simunovic. Together they raised four children; Stephen, David, Susan & Theresa. Frank was a kind, lively, loving & funny man with a love for his family & dogs. He is survived by his wife, Barb; his children, Steve (Connie) Simunovic, David (Tricia) Simunovic, Sue (Bill) Welsh, Terri Hatfield; his grandchildren, Brooke Jarrett, Joe Simunovic, Sara (Chris) Pushard; his great-grandchildren, Connor, Peyton & Addison Jarrett and Chase & Zoey Pushard; his sister, Maryann Banaszak & niece, Tressa Banaszak. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Caitlin Welsh. Cremation has already taken place and the family will hold a private memorial. In lieu of flowers or mass intentions, donations to Hospice are appreciated.
