Frederick Earl Bean

BEAN, Frederick Earl Schoolcraft Born August 30th, 1933 - Died November 22, 2012 at home with all of his loved ones at his side. Born in the Upper Peninsula he was a true "yooper". Met the love of his life, Rita, in 1953 and they were married in July of 1954. Together they had 3 wonderful children- Fredrick T. Bean (Cheri), Cindy M. Keselowski (Bill), and Steven J. Bean. Also five grandchildren who meant the world to him, Bill and Lee Keselowski, Fred and Marilyn Bean, Thomas John Bean , a step-granddaughter Cherish Hines, and one Great Grandchild Cameron Lee Keselowski who really did light up his eyes. Fred was a "Jack of All Trades", there wasn't anything that he didn't know how to fix or do. He started his own construction company with his son Fred, "Fred Bean and Son Builders". They had many years working side by side and enjoyed every minute. Fred loved to hunt and fish with both his sons and had many trips to Canada with his buddy Dick. Fred had a passion and love for classic cars and everything that went with it from antique oil cans, peddle cars, gas pumps and so much more. His pole barn was filled with everything he loved. Cremation has already taken place at Fred's request. A memorial service will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers all donations can be made to Heartland Hospice of Portage.
