Gary Leroy Lull

Gary Lull, age 75 of Kalamazoo, passed away on January 11, 2024 at Bronson Hospital as the result of injuries sustained from a car accident while walking home from work.  

Gary was born in Vicksburg Michigan on December 20, 1948 to his proud parents Leroy and Darlayne Lull (both deceased).  He is survived by his sister Judi (Jerry) Swoboda, two nephews AJ (Kelsey) Swoboda and Lukas (Kelsey) Swoboda, two uncles and an aunt and many cousins. 

Gary graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1968 and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

He worked at Plainwell Variety in Plainwell Michigan for many years and then continued to work in retail for Harding’s Market in Kalamazoo for 30+ years up until the time of his death. 

He enjoyed photography, history and watching movies. Cremation has taken place and no service has been planned at this time.
