Gayle Louise deDie

deDie, Gayle L. Vicksburg On April 10, 2013, Gayle deDie joined her parents Clyde and Alberta and her sister Doris in Heaven after a short struggle with cancer. Born in Constantine on May 19, 1940, she grew up in Michigan and Arizona. After graduating from Vicksburg High School, she worked as a secretary at Simpson Lee Paper Company where she met her husband William. They were married in 1969 and had two children, William deDie and Gayle deDie. While raising her family, she worked for Cunningham Fabrics and was active in the quilt group at Vicksburg Library. In her retirement, she has enjoyed sewing and spending time with her three grandchildren Alexander, Jacob and Shelby who are children of Gayle and her husband Alan. There will be a graveside service at deDie-Richardson Cemetery on South 24th Street, Vicksburg, MI on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Grace Hospice, 2725 Airview Blvd., Suite 101, Kalamazoo, MI 49002.
