Geanne P. Glass

Geanne Phylis Glass, age 90, of Marcellus, MI, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Rose Arbor, Kalamazoo, MI.
She was born December 29, 1926 the daughter of Adrian and Bertha (Visscher) Fryling. On March 3, 1946 she married Nolan T. Glass who preceded her in death on February 6, 1988.
Geanne was a dairy farmer in the Howardsville area and a member of the Edwards Corner Bible Church. Geanne was also a former teachers aide for 16 years in the Three Rivers Community Schools.
Surviving are four children, Thomas (Connie) Glass of Three Rivers, Sally Hackenberg(Fred Learman) of Marcellus, Dawn (Isao) Glass - Asakura of Paw Paw, MI and Michael (Chris) Glass of Marcellus; two sisters, Dorothy (Chet) Quist of Cedar Springs, MI and Patricia (Ray) Kimble- Bigelow of Manton, MI; daughter-in-law, Gayle Glass-Hackenberg; three brother-in-laws Walter Adams of Kalamazoo, Hal Longstreet of Manton MI and Jon Roggelein of Three Rivers; sister-in-law Patricia Fryling of Mendon; a boatload of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;many nieces & nephews; her special friends Betty Grindel and Annie Grover and Geanne’s dog Milo. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Glass; one son-in-law Dale Hackenberg; four sisters, Judy Roggelein, Elaine Fryling, Barbara Adams and Dona Longstreet, two brothers, Jack (Sharon)Fryling, Dan (Aunt Boo) Fryling and brother-in-law, Ray Kimble.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Edwards Corner Bible Church, Marcellus, MI with funeral services to immediately follow at 2 PM. Burial to follow at Lower Flatbush Cemetery.
