Genevieve May Bowyer

Genevieve May (Adams) Bowyer, age 89, of Portage, MI (formerly of Vicksburg) passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Medilodge of Portage. She was born July 10, 1926. Gen is survived by her four children: Susan Hayes of Missouri, Judy(Jerry) Mayes of Vicksburg, Leah (Jack) Colwell of Portage and Tom Bowyer (JulieThornton) of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; grandchildren: Pam Carl, Kevin Kelley, Amanda Appell, Jennifer Haywood, Ellyn Curtis, Heather Novak, Breana Buikema, Brandon Bowyer and T.J. Bowyer; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hess Bowyer, her parents Rolland and Winifred Adams, two brothers, Gerald and Robert Adams and one sister Maxine Adams. Gen did not wish to have any memorial services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of SouthWest Michigan or Senior Services.
