FELLOWS, Gerald N. Kalamazoo Gerald passed away peacefully on September 8, 2012 at Tendercare in Kalamazoo. He was born 12/26/25 in Schoolcraft, MI, the son of Maynard and Fern Fellows. Gerald enjoyed working on the family farm and graduated from Mattawan High School in 1944. He married June Chriswell on 9/24/48. Gerald loved Northern Michigan, the outdoors, animals and had a passion for flying. He spent hundreds of hours flying and enjoyed giving rides in his private plane. He was an organist and enjoyed playing for anyone that wanted to listen. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge #513 in 1959, was their active organist and is Past Master. After Gerald and June moved to Lake City, MI in 1977, he became active at the Masonic Lodge #408 and is Past Master and was an honorary member in Schoolcraft and enjoyed serving as organist. Gerald is survived by his wife June, daughters, Diane Eager, Karen Fellows, Kim Shepperd and Kay Clark (John), 3 grandchildren,Tim Eager (Chris), Chad and Chelsea Smith. Also survived by a sister Mary Lou Mason (Vern) and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, creamation has taken place. A memorial service will be held to honor him on Saturday,September 15, 2012 at 11 am at the Kalamazoo Covenant Church, 5708 E. Main St, Kalamazoo, MI with Pastor Dave Beetham officiating.The Family wishes to thank his very special caregivers at Heartland Hospice and Tendercare Dementia Unit.
