Geraldine Mae Myers

Myers, Geraldine 6/23/1923 - 7/31/2015 Sumner Iowa Geraldine Passed away on Friday July 31, 2015 from health complications. She was born in Iowa on June 23, 1923, the daughter of the late Wesley and Opel Daisy. She was raised in Arlington IA but moved to Kalamazoo MI in 1947. She worked for the former Kalamazoo Vegetable Parchment Company, retiring after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Beryl Galer and her second husband Ralph Myers, and one brother Gerald Daisy. Surviving is a sister, Betty Frey and a brother Charles Daisy both in Iowa; two sons, Beryl (Norma) Galer of Grand Rapids, MI, Gerald (Mary) Galer of Sumner IA; two step sons, Ellery and Rolland Myers; two grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) and Jeffrey (Christa) Galer; four great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Megan, Austin and Connor Galer; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a grave side service will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday August 12th, 2015 at Mt Ever Rest Memorial Park, 3941 S Westnedge Ave Kalamazoo, MI.
