Gladys Ruth Donahue

DONAHUE, Ms. Gladys R. Kalamazoo Passed away February 22, 2010, from Breast Cancer. Gladys was born on April 5, 1920 in Kalamazoo, MI. the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Anna (Broersma) Vanderslik. She attended Western Michigan University. She worked as a secretary for 32 years at Hercules, Inc. and retired in 1985. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Arthur; two sisters, Jean Afman and Pearl V. Appeldoorn; four brothers, James, Marvin, Alvin and Donald Vanderslik. She is survived by a nephew, Donald Jr. and niece Judith Ann, who were very dear to her as well as. several nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no services and a private interment will be held at East Cooper Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of S.W.
